Tel Aviv LC travels to Manchester

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of traveling with fellow members of the Tel Aviv Lacrosse Club to Manchester, England, for the Manchester 8's Lacrosse Tournament. It was great showing by our side even though we lost in the championship game. It was our only loss of the tournament. There was a team from Amsterdam, while the rest were from the United Kingdom. Before we started the tournament, myself and some of my teammates ran a skills clinic at the King David High School, which is a Jewish school in Manchester. It was fantastic to see that some of the students were picking up the game very quickly.

The tournament was a great experience to see how we can compete against other European clubs. It was a very meaningful experience because of the place we were representing. To represent Israel Lacrosse and being part of Tel Aviv LC is especially meaningful because we are trying to grow the sport here in Israel. It also was meaningful because we were representing the country. Every game meant that much more to us because of what we were representing. I cannot say enough about the quality members of Tel Aviv LC. They are all stand out people and we should all be proud of our accomplishments even though we lost in the championship game.
