Continuing my quest to find the best hamburger to my taste in Tel Aviv, I bring you Agadir. A friend of mine on my program and I ventured to Agadir to investigate the hamburgers there. We both amazing things about the hamburgers at Agadir. Many people we spoke to think its the best hamburger in the city. Even better than Moses. That being said, I was game to see if it was better than the hamburgers at Moses. Both restaurants have multiple locations in the Tel Aviv area and have delivery options if you live within their range. Agadir has a few locations within Tel Aviv. There is one near the Tel Aviv Port in the north of the city, one on Ben Yehuda, and one on Nachalat Binyamin close to the entrance of Shuk HaCarmel. We decided on the Agadir on Nachalat Binyamin. We started off the investigation process with an appetizer of fried cauliflower with tomato sauce, topped with parmesan cheese and parsley. The appetizer was a solid choose. The cauliflower was not mushy inside, and the breading did not fall apart when you took a bit out of it. As for my hamburger, I decided to order the Angus Hamburger, with all of the traditional fixings including bacon and cheese. Yes there are non kosher menu items in Tel Aviv and in Israel. I know that might sound ridiculous but its here. The hamburger itself was 250 grams from the entrecote which is from the rib section of the cow. With the hamburger I had to order a side of french fries because what is a hamburger without french fries? The answer is very lonely. The hamburger was extremely tender and juicy. With the first bite I had to grab a napkin because it was so juicy. The french fries were excellent as well. They were the typical shoe string french fry you associated with McDonalds. They were golden brown, crispy, and delicious. The perfect accompaniment to the supremely delicious hamburger. In the grand scheme of my search for the best hamburger in Tel Aviv, I would say Agadir is a 9 out 10. It was definitely better than the hamburger from Moses. If you had a short amount of time in Tel Aviv and you were craving a hamburger, I would recommend Agadir over Moses. Next in my quest to find the best hamburger in Tel Aviv, I will be tasting Wolfnights. Until then, Agadir is top in my book for a hamburger in Tel Aviv so far. Enjoy!
