Before I found burritos and tacos at Donkey, I found Mezcal. This restaurant/ bar in Florentine might be the place to go in Tel Aviv if you are missing Mexican cuisine in your life. Back in the Fall, a group of us in the program went to Mezcal to check it out. They have tacos, burritos, enchiladas, nachos, salsa, and guacamole for your enjoyment. They also have Mexican beers, tequila, margaritas, and all of the atmosphere that a Mexican restaurant should have. The food was very good, but the portions sizes were small and leaving me wanting more to eat. The prices also were expensive, but that's dining in Tel Aviv. For those Israelis that do not know how to eat a taco they have a guide that tells them how to eat a taco correctly. It was so funny to see the instruction guide because for me eating tacos is a natural thing for me. I guess it comes with being around Mexican food. The tacos were delicious, and the enchilada I had was delicious. For the adventurous eater, try Mezcal. Its a cool place, and unique in the dining scene here in Tel Aviv. Enjoy!
