Mealtime: Ruben

Since I arrived here in  Israel, there have been several things that I have missed having around. One of those things is a Deli. A place where the sandwich arts are perfected with delicious corned beef, pastrami, chopped liver, brisket, and turkey. One night walking through Florentine, I stopped with a friend of mine at a place called Ruben. It looked very promising with the heavenly aroma of corned beef wafting from the counter. I suggest you order the decently sized corned beef sandwich on rye bread with some mustard and a pickle on the side. This will bring you happiness if you are missing the classic deli sandwich. If you are Tel Aviv and are looking for that classic Deli taste, Ruben is a sandwich for you. Enjoy!
